California 100: Past, Present, and Future of Housing in California

Project Description

The Lewis Center Housing Initiative, UCLA cityLAB, and UC Berkeley Terner Center for Housing Innovation partnered on a report summarizing California’s housing market and policy context and outline a vision for how policy changes could lead to a brighter, more affordable future for the state’s residents. The project had two major components: A Facts, Origins, and Trends report that discussed where we are as a state, how we got here, where we are headed on our current trajectory, and a Scenarios and Future Policies report that traces out possible futures — positive and negative — and the policy choices that could lead to each.
