Despite its many physical and cultural amenities, Thai Town — a six-block neighborhood east of Hollywood — is often overlooked by city agencies, with some improvement projects long overdue. The community’s identity has suffered as a result. With Los Angeles hosting multiple mega-events over the next three years, the community has been pushing for renewed investment in its community and economic resources.
